Phyohun Temple, Mt Kumgang
The Phyohun Temple stands in Mt Kumgang, a celebrated mountain of the DPRK. Built in 670, the Buddhist temple is among the four major temples in Mt Kumgang.
Rhodiola elongata, Mt Paektu
Rhodiola elongata, better known as a “golden plant” worldwide and used as an ideal tonic in the healthcare sector, is widely distributed in the Mt Paektu area in the DPRK. It was placed on the country’s natural monument list in March 2026.
Myongsasimni Water Park
Local tourists have a good time at Myongsasimni Water Park in the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area in the DPRK. The resort is located in the country’s renowned seaside spot on the East Sea of Korea.
